Plastic recycling
One of the components of my artistic method — the concept of recycling and reusing plastic as a response to the climate change crisis, presents me with the ambitious goal of decarbonizing not only art itself, but also society as a whole.
Art from recycled plastic represents a kind of manifesto in the construction of a sustainable future. Replacing traditional mediums with recycled plastic helps to mitigate the negative impact on the environment associated with the extraction and production of new raw materials.
It is also important to emphasize that each object made from recycled plastic makes a significant contribution to reducing the carbon footprint, as it uses already existing resources, guaranteeing minimal impact on nature and thus providing for the reuse and circulation of plastic in the ecosystem. Reusing plastic reduces the need for new raw materials and reduces negative environmental impacts.
This is an actual method in art where artistic expression and environmental responsibility merge into a single concept. It serves as both a real action in the fight against climate change and an affirmation of the idea of the need for conscious use of resources and respectful relationship with nature. The use of recycled plastic is a small step towards a sustainable future.
My artistic practice is largely based on the use of recycled plastic, which I usually find in the urban environment, turning ordinary plastic bottles into relevant works of art. Every time you see elements of recycled plastic in my work, you can be sure that these materials have been directly recovered from regular household garbage.
This approach of mine blurs the boundaries between different directions of art, uniting them under the banner of sustainable creativity. In this regard, in this section of the site, you will find links to my projects from other sections, but united by the common idea of using recycled plastic. Here are collected works that illustrate how you can turn unnecessary waste into something new and meaningful.
